“Dvorák in America: Themes and Variations on a Composer’s Life”

Czech composer Antonin Dvorák spent two years in America at the end of the 19th century, during which he composed some of his most famous works.

Seattle's Klassikon String Quartet, including cellist and KUOW announcer Dave Beck, explored some of Dvorák's musical themes and the American influences on his music.

This 45-minute concert was particularly suited for children ages 6-12.
